Blog changes

In an effort to get this blog back on track I have simplified it, deleted some of the attached one-topic blogs
and focused on Sabbats and Esbats, which was the original intent.
Other writings will be in 'stumbling upon the path of the goddess'
and the Borrowed Book of Charms is still active.

Hello everyone!

Sorry to have been away for so long. My mother passed away in late December. It was not unexpected, she was 85 and had cancer and she died in her sleep. We should all be so lucky.
But it certainly does throw a wrench in the works and many things get put aside.
I am back to a somewhat normal routine and looking forward to getting back to blogging and chatting with all of you.

And I especially apologize to those of you waiting for Blue Moon information. But I am not going to post about that now...I will wait for the next Blue Moon.
I hope you all had great holidays and are thoroughly sick of winter, because I am ready to start looking forward to and planning for spring and that is the direction I will be going.

  1. So sorry to hear about your Mother. It's never easy but at least as you say it was peaceful for her.

  2. That is quite alright. There are much more important things than blue moon info. I am very sorry to hear about your lose. I lost my Grandmother over this holiday and know how it can turn everything around even when you know it is coming. My heart goes out to you and yours.

  6. I am sorry about your mother. I too lost my mother at the end of December and like yours, it was expected. My heart goes out to you. I won't give you the standard thoughts about better places and all, just remember the good times and hold on to those. It's what has kept me going.
    Blessings,
    Raven

  7. So sorry to hear about your mother but at least her passing over was peaceful. I've missed you and wonder how things were. Good to have you back and like the new look to your blog here... yes, very tired of winter but you know how it goes. It will hang around until we think it will never end and then one day you can begin to see the ending of it coming.

    Sigh

  8. Very sorry to hear about your Mom. You are right, we should all be so lucky to fall asleep and pass. It still leaves a space in us though.

I am ready for Spring too. Enough Winter. I'm done.

    Great to see you back!
