Blog changes

In an effort to get this blog back on track I have simplified it, deleted some of the attached one-topic blogs
and focused on Sabbats and Esbats, which was the original intent.
Other writings will be in 'stumbling upon the path of the goddess'
and the Borrowed Book of Charms is still active.

Countdown to Solstice! 4

Summer Solstice celebrations have been historically, much different than the Winter Solstice gatherings. Winter Solstice was a time of desperation and hope and rituals and festivities reflect both of these emotions.

Summer Solstice is a time of celebrating life, watching the crops that are coming to maturity, the animals that are strong and healthy, the long days outdoors and the good times to come in the near future.

  1. How are you doing, Dear One? I'm just catching up on you via various sites...and I hope the days are lengthening as you would hope and desire to be creative and happy is strong.

    Bright Blessings!

  2. I seem to be rushing around in little circles and not finishing much. Need to calm down. :-)
